A Picture is Worth Five Billion Words

I realize I shouldn't use outside sourced pictures and normally I follow the rules. This time, I just can't help it. This photo is from the Oregonian and it says all I have to say right now.

Amare Stoudemire Returns

I know the Blazers recently pulled off a big win over Phoenix but to expect that again tonight is asking a lot. To make matters worse, Amare "the bull" Stoudemire is snorting and pawing at the gate and seemingly ready to burst back onto the NBA scene. I fear he will make our lives miserable tonight. Wait, Blazer fans are already miserable!

Alas....for me, the season won't end soon enough.

But hey, until then, GO BLAZERS!

I'll be watching Gonzaga whoop on UCLA anyway.

It's Tourney Time!

OK. Here it is. My bracket. No more erasing!

Here are a couple useful links:

*UPDATE* I condensed since my bracket is a wreck. I'm still hoping for the Zags to go deep in the tourney. I am now fully behind Bradley!

Eclipse in Portland.

Congratulations Blazers for a very nice win over the Phoenix Suns! I hate to admit it, but I messed up on the game time and I didn't get to see the game until there were only 6 minutes left in the 4th. I was astonished when I saw the score! Zach was on a tear and Blake near perfection. It seems the Blazers are taking their wrecking crew mission seriously.

The Blazers indeed eclipsed the Phoenix bench. I mean 18-71? Take away Zach's 32 and you still have 39. Great job guys!

P.S. Congratulations and thank you to the Sonics for beating the Lakers. Let's continue showing Kobe how welcome he is in the northwest!

Blazers Win!

Posted by Picasa I can not believe that I complained about having to go to this game! Boy am I glad I did! There is nothing like a Blazer win over the Lakers, nothing. All is right with the universe tonight. Soak it in Blazer fans.

I was impressed with Brian Skinner. He quietly had a very nice game. He looks like he has been here much more than 3 games. Kudos to Blake for another fine night of guarding Kobe. Telfair, Dixon, Zach, and Viktor all had a good night. T-Ravenous put on a SHOW! I swear, we gotta keep him around. Darius got that wonderful steal and sealed the deal. Mostly he seemed distracted. I heard after the game that he has been experiencing knee pain. This is not a good thing.

There were too many turnovers and missed free throws but I am not going to complain. When the Blazers beat LA it is a thing of beauty and I will take it any way it comes. My apologies to the Blazers for not having faith. You got it done, again (9 of the last 13 games with LA at the RQ have been wins). It was pure joy watching the once obnoxious Laker fans, slithering out the doors as quietly as possible. I am so glad I didn't miss it!

More game pictures are posted at Picture Talk.

Wow, what a night!
