Ruben is quickly becoming my favorite player. The Blazer brass and Blazer fans have been craving energy, effort, and good character. Ruben has given us all of this and more. He has NEVER lacked in the energy department, and rarely on the effort. Some people throw Ruben's past into his face and use it as an excuse to belittle him or say he needs to be traded. I do not agree. Unlike many players in the league that have off court problems (that often become on court problems), Ruben has had the courage to stand up, face facts, and make changes. I love his effort and applaud his willingness to face the hard stuff in life.

Ruben's enthusiasm and determination is infectious. His presence on this team is vital to our success.
