Detroit Pistons & Indiana Pacers: The Fight *Updated as the saga unfolds*

If you haven't heard about or seen the fight in Detroit then you are simply not paying attention.

I really don't want to go through a whole analysis of this but will post a few thoughts after watching several replays and then staying up til 2AM watching a replay of the game.

1. The refs began losing control of this game in the very first quarter.
2. Ben Wallace and Ron Artest should have been ejected immediately.
3. Fans should be charged with assault as well as Artest, Jackson, O'Neal.

My opinion is that this whole mess was started by the one fan that tossed their drink at Ron Artest. It could have been avoided by better handling by the refs of the earlier situations. The fan crossed the line and that person needs to be held accountable. All others should be held accountable for their actions once the fight started. Ben's push should be handled as a simple flagrant and no more.

IDIOTS-absolute IDIOTS! Detroit needs to take action with their "fans". Everytime I see that moron pouring his drink on Jermaine I want to scream. This is followed up by a girl tossing her bottle at him. It is ridiculous and I don't blame players for being so mad that they can no longer hold it in. Those "people" can not be allowed to get away with it.

I'm just too ticked off to continue with this. One special note though, RASHEED WALLACE was a PEACEMAKER tonight, and for that, I applaud him.
