Japan to Begin a Pro Basketball League

"...TOKYO -- Japan will have a pro basketball league next year, hoping to draw on the sport's strong following in the country...."

They are only starting with 6 teams and plan to begin next season. I just hope that the international spread of basketball-which is fine-doesn't lead to the demise of our very own NBA.
