Blazers vs. Milwaukee Bucks
This game could literally go either way. The Bucks (3-3) have been struggling right along with Portland (4-3). The Blazers will be at home and that SHOULD be an advantage. Terry Porter will be there, he always gets a rounding applause.
Personally I am concerned how the current trade rumors may affect the team. It is really hard to guage. We are coming off a horrendous loss to Memphis. Trade winds are blowing. All the uncertainty, lack of confidence, could spell trouble. The Blazers have commonly approached what seems to be a doomed situation with suprising tenacity and they win emphatically. I am hoping this is the result tonight.
I also am expecting fans to make their opinions about the Vince Carter trade known. I'll have camera in hand and will share any shots I get.

GO BLAZERS!
UPDATE: The Blazers got the win. The story of the night was Damon Stoudamire and Ruben Patterson. Damon went off for 33 points and 6 assists. Ruben got 11 points and 2 assists. As always, what Ruben does isn't easily revealed on paper. We can not afford to lose Ruben Patterson!
Cheeks tried a new strategy last night. The basic idea is to not force the guards to always be looking to give the ball to Zach but to create their own shots and take them. I don't know about the long run but for now it may be a good idea. Why? Zach responded by getting 5 assists. That means Zach PASSED THE BALL. This is a skill that Zach needs to add to his game. He still ended up with 18 rebounds and 22 points in the end. Zach wants to improve his game, this may force him to.
Shareef and DA, who have been the center of trade talks, responded with 17 and 14 respectively. Of note is the fact that Reef had ZERO assists.
I am now convinced that Darius needs Ruben. Darius's game picked up last night. 8-3-10. This is a stat line that is a result of Ruben Patterson.
It was a good game. The small crowd was involved. Still, the trade rumors were present. Will this be the last time we see SAR and DA in Blazer unis? We will see. By the way, I didn't see one sign about a trade-I really thought I would.
