Portland Trailblazers vs Milwaukee Bucks

I am sure that the team is glad to know that this is the last game of a very long road trip. There is no doubt they want to end it on a win and at least get a split on this road trip at 3-3. According to the Oregonian Shareef will not play again tonight and Derek Anderson is questionable, he is battling the flu. Darius and Theo are both nursing calf injuries but are expected to start.

The guys are battered, tired and looking for hope. Milwaukee has lost 4 in a row. Portland won the last meeting and outrebounded the Bucks 52-39. Rebounding has slipped lately for the Blazers. With a full and healthy roster, this would be a tough game for Portland. It's been a long hard road trip. Maybe with a Christmas break awaiting, the guys will dig deep and end this thing on a positive note. I expect a good game from Damon and Zach. Let's hope Darius can hit his free throws! I also expect to see Travis Outlaw get good playing time tonight. There has been talk about how well he has been doing. Play him Mo!
Game Preview

GO BLAZERS!

UPDATE: Blazers win! Merry Christmas! Seriously, it was a decent win. Holding Redd to 4 points is notable, kudos to DA. I was suprised to not see Outlaw and Telfair get more time in this game. I know the guys will be happy to get home and have Christmas. It was said that the team was going to bus down to Chicago, spend the night, and practice before they head home. Good idea Mo. We have Iverson and the Sixers on the 27th. I hope the guys have a relaxing and fun break with their families and come back energized for the stretch to February's trade deadline. As it stands, I am now hoping for NO TRADES. NVE is doing a fantastic job at the point!
