Blazers-Nets

Lucky for the Blazers, Jason Kidd will not be playing tonight. The Blazers really have no excuse to lose this game. The Blazers have been known to play down to their opponents, and this has cost them many a winnable game. I don't even want to see a glimmer of this tonight!

How the Blazers handle the Nets will give us an idea of what this year's team is made of.

Tonight's game is the first of a back to back. Richard Jefferson and ZO are about all the Nets have! Keep these two in check and a win should be forthcoming.

Tonight's game should be a reasonably easy win, allowing the Blazers to have more energy tomorrow to face Pierce and Payton in Boston.

GO BLAZERS!

UPDATE: I not only saw a glimmer of the "play down to your competition bug"...

IT WAS GLARING IN MY FACE THE ENTIRE GAME!

24.4% ? What is this?

I'll tell you what it is. It is the Blazer's game shooting percentage! The Blazers played terribly. They stunk up the place so bad I could smell it all the way on the west coast. I have nothing good to say about this game. The Blazers seemed to forget all about their inside game and completely lost any outside luck they have had.

I said that this would be an indicater of what this team is made of. Unfortunately I am not seeing much change from the team that couldn't make the playoffs last year.

No excuses-none at all. The Nets tried to hand them this game on a golden platter and the Blazers just wouldn't take it.

One thing about it. If there was any chance at all the Kidd was coming to Portland-it is gone now!

This game put the ug in ugly! 4 points off of 23 turnovers? How can that be?

Box Score

I wonder, can we get ZO?
