Community Assist
Damon Stoudamire has been awarded this month's (October) NBA "Community Assist" award.
"...As the recipient of the NBA Community Assist Award, Stoudamire will receive the David Robinson Plaque, with the inscription, "Following the standard set by NBA Legend David Robinson, who improved the community piece by piece." ...

Damon is the first Blazer to get this award. This is a very nice step for Damon. Considering all he has been through and how well he has been able to turn his life around, Damon can now be considered a role model. I'm proud of him
