Blazers vs Raptors
This will be the first game of a three game road trip. The Blazers won both preseason games against the Raptors, once in Toronto, and once at home.
There have been rumors that VC has been asking for a trade but as of late, he seems to have chilled on that. He also has been facing legal issues off the court. Who knows how this will affect VC's game, if at all. I wouldn't bank on it.
This is a game that Portland can win. Zach and Darius were keys winning the preseason games and one of those games was without Carter. The first game was won by 3 points and the second only 2. The guys will have to bring their "A" games and be very aware that the Raptors are going to be more than ready to take it to the Blazers. This game will be very dependant on Blazer defense because the Raptor offense is superior to ours. However, defense is quickly becoming the Blazers "M.O". I think the Blazers will win this game and they will keep Vince and Jalen under 40 combined. Yep-it's gonna happen.
UPDATE: Thanks to a "Kobe" shot by VC, Jalen and VC combined for 41 and beat the Blazers.
What a bummer. I'm OK with it though. I think itmay be best to lose one now so the guys aren't obsessed with a winning streak. We can still go 2-1 on this road trip. GO BLAZERS!
