The streak stops at 11!
BLAZERS WIN! Was it because of Theo? Vashon? Perhaps. I'd be more inclined to say that it's simply the nature of the game, losing streaks only last so long. I have to admit that near the end I was swapping between American Idol and the game. I was so blown away that Mandisa was voted off that I forgot to call my mom with our routine "Blazers Win" celebratory call. She ended up calling me. The distractions this year have come easy. There was a time when NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING would stop me from watching a Blazer game. In fact, there was NOTHING that would stop me from taking my season seat at each and every home game. My how things have changed.
I don't know if the Blazers can do it again. One must consider the competition. However, one good thing is that this was a game that the Blazers SHOULD win, and they did. It didn't come easy to them, but they got it done and that is all that matters. I would like to think that the Blazers SHOULD win at least one of the Golden State games.
Hang in there Blazers, it's almost over.
