Miles High in Denver

Well, Dr. Darius showed us what he is capable of last night. Darius had a tremendous game. He scored 47 points and got stats in every column barring one, assists. (47 PTS, 12 RB, 4 ST, 5 BS)
He did this coming off the bench. He was impressive. It's a darn shame that all he has done is raise the bar of expectation on himself. The odds of him ever playing at this level on a consistent basis are slim to none. I hope he does because we are stuck with Miles for years to come. I won't hold my breath.

The Blazers had a chance to win the game but ran out of gas. I don't think it is any more than that. I wouldn't even blame the young guys because they too played well. Denver kicked it into gear and saved themselves from embarrassment. That is what play off teams do. I hated to see it but, well done Denver.

Kudos to Telfair on his assists.
