Theogate continues...

Does this sound like a reasonable explanation to you in regards to fining Theo Ratliff for not working out?

"...Patterson said players must adhere to the workout guidelines, regardless of their health.
"Anybody -- if they are injured, if they are in rehab, or if they are not -- they need to do what they are supposed to do," Patterson said..."

Is demanding that your injured players risk further injury by lifting weights smart business? Is Steve Patterson being reckless with Paul Allen's investments? Demanding workouts for HEALTHY players is reasonable. Demanding workouts for injured players is stupid. It is downright dangerous.

Hmmm, Mr. Patterson seemed perfectly willing to not force Theo to play while his bursitis flared up, but he is OK with deciding to levy a fine because Theo didn't lift weights during this time? Am I the only one that thinks this is absolutely insane?

Hey Steve, is this just a loophole you found that would allow you to muster up some cash for a franchise that has become desperate? I bet you are pretty steamed that all your little secrets keep getting revealed. I know, it's the media's fault. Of course.
