Maurice Cheeks Fined by NBA. *Updated*
"NEW YORK (AP) -- Portland Trail Blazers coach Maurice Cheeks was fined $7,500 by the NBA on Monday for failing to leave the court in a timely manner after a loss to the Utah Jazz last week..."
This is lame in my opinion. I wonder just what a "timely manner" is? 10 seconds? 1 minute? It seems to me the refs were just ticked off and decided to dig up one of their well buried rules to slap Mo with since he had a few things to say about their less than perfect officiating. NBA rules, in MANY situations, are far too subjective.
