Blazers vs New York Knicks
Where to begin? I think the Blazers will win this game and this is why.
1. Marbury ran his mouth and declared himself the best PG in the NBA. The Knicks haven't won a game since.

2. We have 2 guys injured and that provides the neccessity to play Telfair and Outlaw. Mo probably wouldn't do it otherwise. Yes, now do it again!
UPDATE: 3. We have a new guy that will be eager to make a good showing. John Thomas could end up being a good suprise for Portland and a bad one for NY. Scratch this-Minnesota signed Thomas, we got James Thomas. I know nothing about this guy.
4. Zach is ripe as ever for a bust out game. Hmmm-same result.
5. Ruben has to be feeling good about his game Friday. I expect him to do even better tonight. Ruben is becoming the go-to guy.
6. NY is sufferring from trade talk distraction. ??? who knows.
7. NY is sufferring from "coach might get fired-itis". Reports denied-I don't believe it.
Honestly, I think the Blazers are going to come out and will this win. The Knicks were destroyed by Cleveland last night, 104-79. This is a back to back for them. The Blazers nearly climbed out of a 25 point hole against Miami. They will continue that same energy. The Blazers have won 4 of the last 5 meetings with NY. They shouldn't be intimidated.
Game Preview
UPDATE: Bleck. All I can say is that I HOPE Mo was able to see that playing Travis Outlaw is becoming vital. Travis is improving at a rate that should alarm future opponents! I am very impressed by him. Telfair did well and will improve with continued playing time. Ruben continues to amaze. Damon needs more time, NVE less, period. Zach, what on earth is the matter with Zach? He has had a hard time getting his game on until late.
