Last night's game.

We got to the RQ at 6:45 and they told us that they had run out of Nate McMillan bobbleheads 10 minutes before. RATS! What is strange is that there were supposed to only be 2000 to give away. If 2000 people had just entered the building at 6:45, then how in the world could they say there were 12,000 people at the game? I do not believe it at all. Last night was hands down the emptiest I have ever seen the RQ during a Blazer game. I do not know how they calculate those numbers but it is not a reflection of actual butts in actual seats.

The game was a bit boring to be honest with you. I am really hating the half court offense. I wonder if this is being done on purpose or if it simply is a result of nobody being sure what to do or where to go. KG was quiet too. He did one pretty cool dunk but that was after a whistle had stopped play. To me, the Blazers look as lost and confused as the fans. I won't say they are not trying, because I think they are. It just doesn't change the fact that they are simply not clicking. I feel badly for them. It has to be extremely frustrating.

It was good to see my friends at the game again, but as for going to games. I am very very glad that I did not invest in season tickets. I am hoping for better days ahead, but I am quite content to watch from my couch.

One thing I hear that bothers me is the talk that "this is what the fans wanted". I say WAIT A STINKING MINUTE! Don't blame your failures on me Mr. Blazer management! There was a 50/50 split between fans and you chose to go with the ones that were crying about off court behaviors. Now it is those fans who are missing from the arena. I can almost guarantee that most of the fans who have remained at least somewhat faithful are the ones that wanted to keep winning. You listened to the wrong fans.
