Blazers beat LA-again.

The Blazers handed Phil Jackson his first 6 game losing streak EVER last night. I loved seeing his stunned face. The Blazers proved once again that even with "Kobe rules" in full force, they can beat the Lakers. Last night's game was a very nice reflection of this new Blazer team. This makes the Blazers 2-0 with LA this season. No excuses Phil, we beat you, twice.

Don't be surprised to see Portland in the playoffs. It's possible and I think they are beginning to believe it.

GO BLAZERS!

The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!

Zach Randolph Snubbed Again

Zach snubbed again. It isn't fair. He is not my favorite person on the planet but as an NBA player he is more than deserving of all-star status and it is an outrage that he continues to be ignored. He recovered from his surgery and his game is better than it was prior. He is a consistent double double guy. Zach's only downfall is that he plays for the Portland Trailblazers. Zach doesn't have the commercials and charisma of a Ray Allen but PA-LEEEZE! The guy's stats are fantastic! The fact he had knee surgery only emphasizes he is deserving of all-star status. I'm disgusted with the NBA right now. I understand the public voting for celebrity, but I expect those voting for reserves to do the right thing. Again, they have failed.

It's time for Zach to move on. The only way he will ever be allowed into the all-star game is to play for a winning team. Yes, that day may be here in a few years but the clock is ticking and choices have to be made. If I were him, I'd demand a trade come next summer.

P.S. Congrats to Brandon Roy for making the rookie team. Why him and not Zach? If you recall, he was one of the darlings of the NCAA tourney. Lucky for him. The media either loves you or hates you...they can also make you, break you, or worse, make you disappear. I am hoping that Brandon will flourish and maybe force a change of perception when it comes to the Portland Trailblazers.
